breaking news. an officer shot during a training session. they're awaiting for family to arrive at shock trauma. the trainee had been taking part in a training exercise in owings mills. >> two students are det an off campus shooting. the shooter is dayvon maurice green and shot and killed his roommate stephen alex rane. one of the student's bullets shattered the window of a woman's suv. >> was getting ready for bed.

case for the next few hours tonight. clouds begin to increase early in the day. we'll stop it near 6:00. things will initiate weather wise by 2:00, maybe 3 or 4. a lot of the snow will likely melt. until we get into the latter part of the evening, then the cold air will mean snow showers across the area. right now accumulations look to be light for one reason, because grounds will be above freezing. things could be slick late tomorrow night and early thursday morning. keep that in mind with the system coming in out of the south. right now you see the cold air locked to the north. tomorrow not quite as mild with the clouds encroaching. i don't think we'll be quite as warm but i do expect to see temperatures above the freezing mark by about 10 degrees, still anticipating the low 40s. you can see the system in the south in the form of mall liquid

with the cold air wrapping around the back side, across oklahoma. here's the setup. as the whole thing comes our way initially coming in as rain early tomorrow and changing steadily over to wet snow as we go into tomorrow evening and late tomorrow night. the whole thing begins to blow hot into early thursday morning. could be slick roads, light slushy coating and dry improving weather into thursday but an additional system may bring some rain showers in here late friday. so here's the recap. a lot going on in the pattern. tonight 31. clouds on the increase but we do stay dry. there will be the possibility of late day showers likely converting pass we go toward sunset and beyond to rain and snow and yes, a slushy coating. better coatings north of the baltimore, northwest of

dorner may be over. a man matching dorner's description has been spotted in the mountains of los angeles where authorities have surrounded several homes. we're tabbing about officers, s.w.a.t. teams, who are armed. we are told that several shots have been fired in the situation. it is still very fluid, but it does appear that christopher dorner may have been found. a frantic search for accused cop killer christopher dorner focused on the san bern far dean know mountains. the shard reported a man matching dorner's description had stole an white truck 10-miles from big bare with reports of possible gunfire in the region. authorities from several agencies rushed to the scene. dorner is accused of killing three people in retaliation for being fired from the force and hasn't back seen since last week. there have been other

developments, including a $1 million rewrard being offered for information leading to dorner's arrest. thanks to a flood of tips, authorities conducted a raid over-- overnight at a tijuana motel. officials confirm that a photo is dorner. the search has centered on this neighborhood in the cabin. we have learned here at abc news, the suspect that looks like dorner is accused of holding one, possibly two women hostage in a cab bifnlt authorities tell us the suspect then stole their vehicle. there was a pursuit. we have learned that shots have been fired. our sources tell us that two deputies have been injured but it's not known yet if they have been shot. tactical teams try to evacuate the situation as the s.w.a.t.
